Another beautiful day for a party. Rhiannon had her 5th Birthday Party at a horse stable in Virginia Beach, so there were horse and Pony rides all around. Everyone had a lot of fun and I got a lot of cute candids. I also managed to pull off the feet of a lifetime. Rhiannon actually gave me a wonerful smile and not one of her traditional funny faces. Thank you sweetie.

I could not have picked a better day. Saturday was absolutely beautiful. The time of day may not have been ideal for pictures, but I was working around nap times for two babies. My daughter Kacey's 1st birthday party was wonderful. Thanks to all the family who was able to make it. Kacey had a lot of fun with everyone.
Mary had a lot of fun with that large frizbie. It was almost as big as she was. I think she really enjoyed being with all her cousins.
Only picture I was able to take of Rhiannon without a funny face. Caught her in mid sentence. Usually when she poses I get a different kind of funny face. A word to the wise for children photographers out there every where. Find another way to get a child to laugh besides making funny faces. It is inevitable you will get that one child that will only give you funny faces.
My child is a picker! Even 30mins into the cake eating and she still picking at it. She was quick to get too it even grabbed at the candle before anyone had a chance to blow it out for her. She didn't get burned, we all checked her twice to make sure. Next time I think I am going to do a paper candle. Still she did put the candle out all on her own. Wonder what she wished for.
Yes I cheated. And I am not ashamed of it. She would have never done it on her own. So the messy face is staged. Her aunt Melissa that it was cool to give her a mow hawk with what little hair she has. She spiked it with sunscreen when she was outside and it stayed that way all day, then she bushed it all out when she put the cake in her hair. My son that it was funny to put a big glob of icing on her forehead.
Kacey wasn't bothered one bit by her brother. She took the whole day in stride. She had a wonderful time. And so did everyone else I think.
